RAIN FOREST BIJAGUA

Tour Description

Location: Bijagua de Upala, Alajuela

This tour takes us to the valley of Bijagua, located between Tenorio Volcano and Miravalles Volcano (Guanacaste Mountain Range), roughly 1 hour and 10 minutes from Liberia city. This wind pass is an evergreen habitat and it gives usually a HUGE bird list, the rainy weather supposes an extra challenge though. This tour is only for participants who enjoy bird observation, either avid or beginners, however sightings of sloths and other mammals are regular too. Our expert birding guide will share with you techniques and information about bird field marks to make it truly a learning experience.
