This is a great opportunity to explore the endangered cloud forest. Here we can find plenty of time to look for hummingbirds and quetzals. There is a nice cool temperature year-round, very nice trails with amazing avifauna The second half of the journey will take us to the breath-taking warm views of Arenal Volcano and the abundance of the rain forest,

Day 2

Heading towards Arenal area making stops on the way
Arriving to La Fortuna around 6 pm

Birding at Arenal Observatory Lodge

Birding around Peninsula Road during the afternoon
