Tour Description

East of San Jose, only 1 hr away (low traffic) you can find stunning birds like Red-headed Barbet. We will have a full day to travel around various sites looking for limited-range species. A highlight of this trip is the visit to Tapanti National Park.

Pick up is usually around 5 am

It takes around 1 hr to get to the Orosi Valley.

We have all day to walk in areas like Tapanti, Orosi, Rio Macho and Ujarras.

Returning to San Jose in the late afternoon
