Location: Bijagua de Upala, Alajuela
This tour takes us to the valley of Bijagua, located between Tenorio Volcano and Miravalles Volcano (Guanacaste Mountain Range), roughly 1 hour and 10 minutes from Liberia city. This wind pass is an evergreen habitat and it gives usually a HUGE bird list, although sometimes the rainy weather supposes an extra challenge . This tour is only for participants who enjoy bird observation, either avid or beginners, however sightings of sloths and other mammals are also regular . Our expert birding guide will share with you techniques and information about bird field marks to make it truly a learning experience.
