Our experts know the best birding spots near Liberia in Guanacaste, they will help you to find the north pacific specialties of Costa Rica, as well as any of your target species. Our day trips take you to volcanoes, mountains, grassland, wetlands, cloud forest, Tropical Dry Forest, rain forest and much more.
Our tours are designed for birding, therefore we try to accomodate birders of all kinds (beginners - avid - hardcore - twitchers - listers ...) and nature photographer-explorers that would like the assistance of the eye & knowledge of an expert to get the best experience possible. We can only achieve this by offering mainly private trips. It has happened a few times in the last years that travelers with the same interests booked the same dates and we have consolidated day trips that depart from the same region.
Please check our expert profiles to familiarize with our staff, but be certain that our bilingual & equipped guides are experienced birders, well educated to provide great guest service and willing to patiently assist you through the challenges of birding in the tropics. Other iconic forest creatures such monkeys, sloths, frogs, etc...inevitably show up during our tours, you might as well enjoy admiring them.
Our company philosophy dictates that: Our travelers time is extremely valuable and we dont mind going the extra mile-hour to get the best and most out of each travel day. That is why we suggest to start around 5 am, also it may take over 1.5 hrs to go from the coastal hotel areas to some good spots. We encourage our clientele to share via email or WhatsApp your target list so a proper suggestion can be given for your day trip.
