BIRDING NEAR THE HOTELS (GUANACASTE) / Estacion Horizontes
Tour Description
This tour is thought for birders that dont have much time available but still want to see the highlights of the Tropical Dry Forest. It covers secondary roads, grasslands, gallery forest and patches of dry forest. It begins before sunrise and it takes about 40 minutes to reach the road access to the Horizontes Station (part of the Guanacaste Conservation Area). At some point a pause is made to enjoy a quick breakfast and then continue until almost noon.

Itinerary
This is a suggested itinerary, times may vary and this tour ONLY operates on PRIVATE basis
Pick up time: 5:00 am (it depends on hotel´s location)
Birding all morning with a stop to enjoy a breakfast
Arriving back to the beach hotel around 12:00 noon
