Touring the Tempisque River on a boat at 7:30 in the morning is the most convenient way to avoid the large tour groups and to synchronize with the early activity of the birds, mammals and reptiles.

Pick up time: 5:00 am (it depends on hotel´s location)
Birding stops on the way, use of restrooms and coffee snack
7:30 am – 9:00 am Tour on the boat
Birding stops on the way
Early lunch: 11:00 am - 11:45 am
After early lunch, Birding stops on the way back to the hotel
